Ophelia Monologue

Improved Essays
I do have a relationship of some sort with Ophelia, but I do not love her. We have slept together and I think that’s what brings us together, but in a emotional aspect , we are not close. I do admit that I use her and I use her body for my own selfish reasons but deep down I do have some sort of feelings for her, but I doubt it is love. I can't take her seriously because of her innocence and her ignorance towards how I treat her, she doesn't stand up for herself when I treat her mean, and I like women who are a challenge but she wants to follow me around like a lost puppy. I do seem to give her mixed emotions and signals about my feelings for her, but I am a bad boy, and she believes she can change me but I do not want to change, and she

The grill sizzled and I flipped the burgers perfectly. I dropped extra tomato and poured my special mustard vinaigrette onto the cesar salad, and rang the bell to signal one of the waitresses. Not wasting time, I immediately prepared the next dish of grilled-chicken sandwich with sweet potato chips and piled garlic mashed potatoes on a plate with balsamic chicken. I danced through the kitchen completing the orders and ringing the bell in a second’s notice. Today was a great day.…

The scene starts off with a medium shot of Leigh Anne and her three friends at a circular lunch table with a bright, yellow tablecloth. In the background, are more tables with couples eating, waiters, waitresses, and other guests occupying the background and sides of the frame. Moreover, all the people in the background and sides of the frame are extras to make it seem like the restaurant is busy at the middle of the day (lunch). At the beginning of the scene, her friends are making corny jokes while Leigh Anne tilts her head and eyes to the side at the same time to show she has no idea what is so funny, and she doesn't really care to know in a medium shot of Leigh Anne. Beth says, "Does Michael get the family discount at Taco bell cause…

“Claudia” Claudia, that was the name that I was gifted with at birth. I wasn't one to give much thought to my own name, it wasn't that I wasn't interested in my name, it wasn't something that I would question or think of. I just saw my name as a title for people to use as a form or reaching out to me when they needed me for a certain task, yet there were moments where I thought to myself... "Why out of all the names would my parents pick Claudia?" , it's not that I specifically dislike the name or have anything against it...…

My group chose to depict the scene where Hermia finds her friends in the woods. She has found Lysander, her love, now in love with Helena because of a love potion Puck mistakenly puts on him. She also finds Demetrius, who was courting her and seemed to hate Helena but is now in love with Helena due to the efforts Oberon put into fixing Puck's mistake. And we also find Helena who thinks this is all a joke and that everybody is just trying to mess with her. We chose this scene because it had enough characters to suit our group members.…

I don’t even know where those feelings she had for me came from as she just moved from Japan over the summer and had no affiliation with me other than fourth period. Despite her insanity, Ophelia had a nice group of friends and was generally liked by our peers. In class today, Ophelia slammed her hands on my desk, startling me. Her small, green eyes were deadlocked on me like she was a hunter and I was her prey. She pushed up her light, blonde hair that was cut into bangs off her face and demanded that I worked with her.…

The best example would be when Luella showed up in front of Mai and Naru's doorstep in Japan without warning.…

    Ophelia In Hamlet

Throughout life people go through bad breakups, and continue to fall in love, its human nature. Even God created Eve for Adam in the bible, and he created someone for everyone. That leads into Charles Boyce’s article about Ophelia. He states, “Ophelia's nature is abundantly affectionate; her wounded but faithful love—both for her father and for Hamlet—makes her one of the most touching of Shakespeare's characters” (Boyce 1). This suggests that Ophelia too has a “wounded love” for Hamlet, meaning she does love him but something is standing in the way.…
