Considering the ongoing budget cuts and force reductions, the Army should maintain its current level of reliance on contract support, with condition to adopt some measures to maximize the benefits from contractors. From my opinion, Successful operational contract support is the ability to manage and direct all activities necessary to execute contract support integration requirements in a designated operational area. For example, during the last two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Operational Contract Support played an important role in providing effective and efficient solutions to the USA.
