INTRODUCTION

Each organization has a procedure, even if it is called operations or not. The aim or intention of the majority of organisations include the creation of goods and/or services. In order to accomplish this, they have to obtain capital and natural resources. Transform them, which results outputs and transport them to their customers. The word operations include all the actions that are mandatory in order to produce and distribute an organization’s goods or services to its consumer or buyer. In my module game I have to be the manager of a factory. My goal is to complete the contracts by using the facilities of the factory and finish the contraction of goods on time. We have the inputs, the process, and then the output. The inputs are divided into the transforming resources, and the transformed resources. Transforming resources include facilities, staff and capital. The transformed resources include raw material and information. Then we have the process and at the and the output of the process.

The second theory that I will talk is operation strategy theory. Operation strategy is the establish of key decisions about abilities, skills and development, the technology that we use, and major actions or chain of meaning that helps to the construction and the deliver of product and services.

In order to explain better how I use the operation strategy theory I will sow you some photos from the game.

As we can see one of my key decisions on operation strategy is to focused on the client satisfaction and how to increase my reputation like a company, instead of making bigger profit. I decide to choose that strategy because I believe that in a long run term I will have more benefits if in the beginning I create a powerful reputation and a strong and reliable relationship with the clients. In order to achieve that I decide to send the shipment before the deadline in order to increase my reputation.
