Volunteer Operation Kindness gladly welcome all people who wants to get involved in the lives of the animals. There are a lot of programs that the volunteers can help with. Volunteers can join by filling out the application , attend an orientation , and commit to volunteering. Before begin volunteering in Operation Kindness , volunteer need to pay one time program fee to have hands on training and attend online Webinar training. There are many ways for volunteers to help in the shelter. Volunteers can help by walking dogs at least twice a day in the morning and afternoon ; Help to maintain cats room and change litter box; Helping by doing kennel work , such as clean cages , laundry and general keep up ; Work as a receptionist , such as answering phone , greeting visitors , assisting with mailings and general office work ; Assist with fundraising activities and events; Input data in shelter database; Become a volunteer committee by welcoming new volunteer and help with volunteer training ; Do presentation at schools and community groups ; Help assisting for events …show more content…
Volunteer can become puppy and kitten foster. Operation Kindness will provide all supplies needed , such as food , crate , toys and medical care from the onsite hospital. New fosters will receive a training and have clock support , guidance and help from experienced volunteer. Foster parents also can become a wingman to help the animals get adopted. Foster parents will work in team and provide a mutual support. Foster parents will receive an individual training and provided a resource from Operation Kindness. Foster parents can provide a temporary shelter for an owned pet while their owner have through tough times. Owners and pets will be monitored by Operation Kindness. To become a foster parent , simply submit a foster application and must be at least 21 years of age and allowed to have pets in their
