This organization is called the Iraq Relief and Reconstruction Fund (IRRF). Our aid was the first in the ground, and is helping show other counties participate. Congress had added another $18.4 billion (2004- 2007) to the IRRF to assisted Iraq with our reconstruction needs. February of 2006, the U.S had given $10.5 billion of the 18.4 billion, these funded projects for security and economic spheres. 83% of the $18.4 billion dollars was set aside in the beginning of the war for other projects. To reconstruct Iraqi properly it would cost the UN and the World Bank $55 billion over four years each. The projects have changed from large complicated projects to smaller, projects that helps build the Iraqi economy and able to sustain and manage the country’s infrastructure over a long period of time Iraqis living conditions were worsening in a very fast pace. One of the top goals was to eliminate the regime of Saddam Hussein was the most immediate top priorities when entering the war. At this pion Hussein’ regime no longer has any control over any portions of any Iraqi territory. Hussein is either dead or in hiding. There are very little group’s or residence that still remain. The second objective was to put an end to the idea of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction. The military responsibility in the mission was to eliminate the weapons from the controls of any Iraqi regime so they could be found and destroyed so there wouldn’t be any opportunity for a bombing or destruction. Sources say that this objective has been met while in the process of removing the regime from Hussein. The third mission was to either capture of drive out any of the terrorists in the area.
