On January, 1942 the Anglo-Soviet-Iranian Treaty of 1942 was signed in Tehran. It is a treaty of alliance between Great Britain, The United States and Russia, which prevented Germany from utilizing Iran’s resources and territory. Included in the treaty, Russia, the United States and Great Britain had to defend Iran from Germany or any other country in order to prevent invasion again. The treaty was formed due to the Anglo-Soviet invasion that took place in World War II from August 25 to September 17, 1941.
