A person who has a high score of neuroticism tend to be worrisome, nervous and high-strung and people who score low tend to be calm, at ease, and relaxed. My pre-test score on neuroticism was 50 and my post-test score was 27. According to my pre-test score I am right down the middle and I can be calm, at ease and relaxed or worrisome, nervous and high-strung but, according to my post-test score I am secured, patient, and relaxed. My post-test score of 27 is very different from my pre-test score of 50. I disagree to a point with the post-test results because I feel like it is depending on the situation that I am in. If the situation is very stressful I will be tense, but most times I’m very relaxed when nothing big is going on. My hypothesis is that people who score high on neuroticism and score low on extraversion will have a higher chance of being diagnosed with depression than those who do not score as high on neuroticism and low on extraversion. The reason for my hypothesis is that people who have high scores of neuroticism tend to be insecure, nervous, and self-conscious. Also, people who have lower scores of extraversion tend to be cold hearted, quiet, reserved, and prefer to be alone. Thus, with both scores mixing together, it causes depression in the person and at worse cause suicide due to the person being an outsider to society and think that they do not belong
