An autobiography is an account written by a person, explain their life. An autobiography can tell you a lot of different attributes about a person, because the story is coming from their won perspective. Likewise, it can also bring biases. Overall, a proper autobiography will carefully display the person’s life while still making the plot appealing to the audience. In the book Open by Andre Agassi the author explains his life growing up as a tennis player who hated tennis. In contrast, in the movie The Blind Side directed by John Lee Hancock, he visualizes the success of a homeless, black teenager who made it into the NFL with the help of kind strangers. In my opinion, it is evident that Open delivered a better story than The Blind Side because the book has more detail, positively represented the athlete and showed appreciation of the sport.
