Ontario Youth Soccer Team: Team Analysis

For the past three years I have played on a competitive soccer team that is currently in the highest division in Ontario, the Ontario Youth Soccer League. I have constantly had to show my leadership on and off the field. I became captain of the team this past year and I play as the last defender back. This means that I am responsible for overseeing the entire team's positioning by being aware of each player as well as vocally directing each player. Therefore, I must always be able to see the entire field in order to properly lead my team. My job as a captain and a central defender poses constant challenges that need to be handled carefully and quickly.
