Only the fairy story ends, "they lived happily ever after." What is the relevance of this statement to the concepts vision and mission statement?
The concepts vision and mission in one of organization that exist is important to provide a direction in organization such as what the long term and short term objective that need to be achieve, how to achieve it, and why we target that goal. The entire element in vision and mission must be specific and clearly to ensure all level of organization understand and play their own roles. "They lived happily ever after," if in drama surely after faced with all problem and conflict, in the end the hero and his spouse finally can be together or we call it as “happy ending”. But, of course it is not easy to catch out and achieve everything in easy way it must have uncertainty in the line of direction that organization may face several of problem that will have a cause conflict, and then need to create planning and do a solution. So, to make sure organization, can feel the moment like "they lived happily ever after", the organization must have nine elements of strategic vision and mission such as customers, product or services, market, technology, concern for survival, growth and profitability, philosophy, self-concept, concern of image, and concern for employees. I will relate these nine elements with Pertima Trengganu Company (PERTIMA) which is one of manufacturer of canned food in the state of Terengganu that the vision is PERTIMA has embarked to become a leading “Halal” canned …show more content…
The organization must know what the major of their product or services and what kind of business the organization wants to be. PERTIMA that produced variety of canned food such as chicken curry, spicy anchovies, and sardine in tomato sauce. They choose to produce this product to satisfy the need of their target market. This is one of reason why PERTIMA choose to produce this product. But, when they decide to produce this kind of product, the marketing department plays important part because they need to blast to consumer about the product such as advertising, pricing, promotion and make a lot of sampling to introduce their
