Online Vs Traditional College

Let's assume for a minute that you are one of the millions of people who graduated high school and did not enter into college right away. The reason could have been as simple as not possess the funds necessary to go to college at the time of your High School graduation, perhaps you wished to travel or simply could not justify spending on college when you possess no passion for a particular career path at the time. But now that you have a steady job or simply know what you want to do with life, you are now seeking a degree. The next problem that is facing you is do I go to a the traditional college or do I go the online route to obtain the degree. I was one of those people who did not know what I wanted to be or do in life right out of high school. However, after a few years and different jobs searching to find what interest me I finally settled on accounting. Accordingly, I began researching the different colleges and universities. …show more content…
With online school I could schedule my classes around my job in this way it would not have to rearrange my work schedule to fit my classes. However, with a traditional school, I would have to range my work schedule to attend the lectures and classes. This puts online classes at the top my list due to the flexibility of classes. Many of the people said oh well with online classes you will not get the true college experience, but to be quite honest, I was not after the true college experience I simply wanted the degree and the knowledge that came to studying without the distractions and potential annoyances traditional campus life would have
