Online vs. Campus When considering college there are two choices for classes, either online or campus. It may not seem very important, but it is a critical decision. Many students ask what is the difference? There is a big difference between the two. Campus classes can be better than online classes because they are hands-on, peers are around, and there is a full college experience. A few downfalls to campus classes are that some people do not work well around peers or their schedules may not allow them to have classes during the day. On the other hand, online classes are a better fit for some students because they are more flexible. Online classes can help the ones who do not work well with others. Online classes can also be a poor option for some …show more content…
For example, some cannot handle being around peers because they could disturb and interrupt the learning environment. Some students may not be responsible enough for online classes. Students may have a hard time making it to class or the class may not fit their schedule. Some people are not comfortable around a lot of people and prefer to work alone. Others may be better at learning on their own rather than hands-on learning. Because some classes are only available in one or the other, students must base their class option according to their major. If students know the difference between the online and campus classes and how important it is, they should make a good decision based on their goals. When considering different class options college students should choose their classes wisely. Most professors will tell a student to take the campus class so they can easily access the teacher. Online classes versus campus classes is a very important decision. Students should research whether they would want to take online or campus classes. Which choice is best? Overall, it depends on the student and what class option best benefits
