Students can complete your classes when they want and go as fast or slow as they would like. Learning becomes more tapered to the individual and those who need time can take time and those who are ready to move on can move on. It has been argued that students who participate in online education will fall behind, but standards remain the same as a traditional school so the student is responsible for whatever they miss. Students know exactly what is expected and therefor there are fewer obstacles.

With online classes this forces students to truly become independent and self-reliant. It does not mean the individual cannot receive help from others, but they must rely on their study methods to truly understand the material needed. This could prove to be very easy for students who work better alone, and allow them to achieve the marks they want without the in person guidance of a…

Online classes would allow college students to get into the classes they need without having to wait an extra quarter or semester, enabling us to save time and money. I think that online classes would make higher education cheaper and more convenient for many students, giving them easy access. Technology assumes the position of a teacher, helping students who are struggling with school. Also, technology solves another problem of affordability because some parents are unable to afford after-school tutoring, but “MOOCs are substantially cheaper than faculty” (Tsyporin 347). Similarly, online classes become more convenient when a student is working to pay for school.…

While it might be true that online schooling is better, still all in all traditional schooling is way better, because it gives you more discipline and self motivation. Illinois.edu says, “studying online requires more self-motivation and discipline.” While most people think that online is way better they don't think of the facts that will make it really hard on themselves. 1 example is that not only do you have to be willing to do it everyday, but you have to be self motivated. Traditional schooling makes it so that no matter how busy you are there is always enough time to go to school and know everything that could possibly help you with your homework. Another is that you have no discipline, so you are always only doing the lowest amount of work to get a good grade, others who are taking traditional schooling are trying their hardest to get the best grade they…

This reduced cost is achieved by reducing the need for traditional infrastructure to educate people. Schools are able to maximize their spending dollars by “combining live teaching with large amounts of online study” (Clemmitt 1003). This is achieved because a “flipped classroom” is one where video instruction is used to augment class time (Bartos 29). I think this is a good balance because the time in the classroom can now be used to focus on the student.…

Online schooling is more ideal than traditional schooling because you get to work at your own pace, there are less distractions than a traditional school setting, it can be a lot more challenging than a traditional school, and I was able to be a lot more flexible with my time. When I was in 10th grade, I got mononucleosis, mono for short. Mono weakens the body and the immune system, and I really could not go to school without being about to collapse by lunch time. I had to do online schooling so I could get the rest that I needed to get better, while still being able to work on school and not get behind. With this in mind, I was really able to work at the pace that was set for me.…
