Personal Essay: If I Were Playing On Arkham

bout me:
I've been playing on Arkham for what feels like quite a long time(I joined sometime last winter). I've been almost exclusively playing prison since I got back, because I want to get OP. Once I achieve my goals, I plan on playing a few of the other servers more frequently. I'm currently going to college and pursuing my degree in music performance. This last year was very rough for me, school hasn't been easy, and I've lost a great friend, so I had to leave Arkham for quite a while. Though I've just returned a while ago, I'm confident that I have what it takes to be a successful as a staff member. I try my absolute hardest to make sure I respect everyone around me, regardless of previous history. Generally I don't run into conflict since I try to stay friendly with absolutely everybody, but it's inevitable at some times. When conflict arises, I try to deal with it as calmly and respectfully as possible, I never flame, rage, or go off on somebody. I like to believe I'm a likable person, and I seem to make friends

Nothing irritates me more than seeing somebody ask the same question for hours on end with no reply, and whenever I'm online that isn't the case, even if I'm denied staff, I will always do my best to help everyone who needs it.
Don't think that being warm and helpful makes me soft though. I have absolutely no problem with enforcing the rules. I'll be sure to stay vigilant, and to keep our chats clean and friendly.
I'm an honest player, I've never hacked, botted, or scammed anyone in my extensive online gaming history. I believe a staff member should be trustworthy, because if you can't even trust your staff members, players will feel uncomfortable and cautious around the staff. I want players to feel they can approach me with nothing to worry about. I'm only here to help

EDawg878, in my opinion, is one of the finest Minecraft servers out there, and it upsets me to see more drama and chaos in the chat each day. I am very passionate about helping others. Honestly, as silly as it may sound, even helping someone on a Minecraft server is something that makes me feel like I have some sort of significance. I've been here for over 3 and a half years, so I am well acquainted with all of the rules. I am willing to offer my assistance at any given time and I believe I can reply quickly and efficiently to any questions thrown at me.…

I realized that a tremendous amount of players are not listening to staff, or being very toxic, hacking on the server, etc. I think the problem to this is the new people to this server, the new people are new to the server and are not aware of the rules, reason being they haven't really looked into them, Even though Cheating is bannable on most of the servers, they still might not know. They just want to play the server. Rule breakers/toxic players are not the only problem. The biggest problem, in my point of view are the questions that they have for the rules or server.…

At the start of employment with the Billings 911 Center I believe my values where in alignment with my place of employment. Although, with the passing of time, my values have shifted and I now experience more a cultural strain instead of the cultural fit I once knew. The Arrival I had originally planned to travel to Rio on September 5th through September 12th. A perspicacious and experienced hunter named Rainsford accompanied me. It was nighttime when I first spotted land of any sort. It was vaguely visible and was opaque, so misty that even Rainsford couldn’t see it. Utterly tired, I began drifting off, dreaming of the adventures we were soon to face.…

The bright sun was beating down on my face as I squinted to see the score. 9-9 with a minute left in the game. I was wearing my low cut tank top with a number sixty-six on the back and my black kilt with a Bethel Park hawk on the lower right. My white cleats were stained from the freshly cut grass and I had a bruise on my right knee from falling down. I looked through the grey metal cage of my face mask and bit down on my mouthguard determined to win the game.…

Ever since I can remember video games have always been my escape. On my ninth birthday I received my xbox 360 and since that day I have never look back. With my xbox I have made memories and friendships that will last life a life time. Although some believe things in life are either good or bad, it can be seen through Xbox that things are both good and bad, but it’s the proportion between good and bad that matters, this can be seen through new games, finishing games, and new systems that proves that a disproportionate amount of good versus bad creates good memories. With the Xbox there were many games that I have played that have taken me on hundreds of adventures.…

Video games: Good or Bad? Since the last decade, video games – in the public eye - have been considered as a negative impact to our society. Government officials, news reporters, and parents alike have all pointed the finger at video games and their developers for — in one way or another — poisoning the minds of their children. However, recent studies have shown that video games is actually not a bad influence to our kids, and on the contrary, it could be the tool to develop their skills.…
