Online classes offer the option to discuss and ask questions with other students via a post on the webpage, but sometimes type writing is hard to get a message across. Of course it’s always beneficial to work independently, but sometimes a lot of great work comes from connecting to others in a more face-to-face setting. Employers are always looking for those who can connect well over technology and also with others in person. Traditional classes have the advantage of verbally talking to peers and faculty. It gives the option to be interactive with others, which help students to comprehend the work better when things are shown to them in front of a teacher. Getting ready to go to school and be in an environment with other people working hard, gives one the motivation to keep pushing towards success. The learning curve for every individual is based on personal preference. Not everyone learns at the same rate or is the same person in general. Based off experience I have from taking both traditional and online classes, I prefer taking traditional classes. Online classes offer time to work around a person’s tight schedule, which is nice if you need to work a lot.
