Although OKCupid, Tinder, and Plenty of Fish have had long reigns at the top of the online-dating mountain, many people are flocking to new apps that put unique spins on meeting people.

Created by some of the people responsible for Tinder, Bumble is an app that seeks to give the power of choice to its female users. Although it retains Tinder's matchmaking system in which you swipe right or left to signify whom you want to meet, the messaging system is completely revamped.
