The book discuss about intimacy which adult seek someone whom they can deeply disclose their live in a self-sacrificing commitment (Berger 551). I remember when I met my husband online, in 2000 we started chatting, became friends and intimate. Online dating was not popular then. I was halfway across the world happily working in Taiwan and he is living here in the US. When our relationship got serious friends and families from both of our sides said it is not possible. We have been married of 14 years now with 2 children and our relationship still growing and stronger than ever.
