I was rushing home with the coffee's, when I suddenly felt hot liquid spilling all over my shirt.
"Darn it!" I shouted, realizing I had dropped my coffee. I figured it was okay since Daniela's was okay. As if the bags under my eyes weren't enough to make me look terrible, now my hair was a mess and my shirt was stained. It had been a really long week. Daniela had insisted on throwing me a huge birthday party, which I told her I didn't need, but she went ahead and did it anyway. It was a really nice party, the best one I've been to in years, but it was very stressful to put together. There were too many people to invite, too many plans to make, and too much food to order. Now, luckily, all of that was over and we could get back to our normal work.

"Yes! Of course!" I ran into her arms, and she buried her face in my neck. I didn't even realize that I was crying until she was kissing my tears away.
"God, Carla, I was so worried," Daniela sobbed into my shoulder. "I love you. So much, and I was so scared that you'd not want to marry me, and now-"
"Dani, of course I want to marry you!" I chuckled. "You're my best friend and the love of my life." She smiled and pulled me into a passionate kiss. I remembered our first kiss, and every kiss after. But none of them had been as great as this one. We only pulled apart to gasp for air.
"And I wouldn't have it any other way," Daniela panted. "Shall we take this upstairs?" I nodded my head excitedly as she lead me up towards our room, smirking. Every day after that was just as blissful as this one. When I was sad, Dani was there to cheer me up. When she was sad, I did the same. When I was happy, she shared the happiness.
