The points in the lecture contradicts the points in the reading. The professor is completely disagree with the solutions given in the reading for some reasons as follows. First, the professor states that one-Way Glass is not a good idea to prevent birds from flying through glass window because the outer side of the window works as a mirror and when birds are flying in front of it, they can not understand that the sky or tree which they are seeing in front of them (actually in the mirror) are not really the sky or the tree. This contradicts the point in the reading which states that one-Way Glass is a good solution for preventing birds from flying through the windows.
