I want to focus in on one specific student that every in our school has trouble with. His name is Ian. He is notorious for having behavior problems and can be extremely disruptive in class. My CT has told me that the school has asked the mother to have him tested for ADHD, his mother refuses to do so because she fears the impact medication would have on him. He struggles in all of his classes but math. He is very advanced in math, so advanced that he receives challenge problems and often helps students figure out problems if they are having difficulty.
