When it comes to the electoral college I have a strong feel that it should be abolished. This is because I agree with what the article The electoral college has serious problems. So do any alternatives. The article summarizes that the electoral college “violates the principle of “One person, one vote””. The author of the article, Andrew Rudalevige, states that the votes in Wyoming have more power in their vote then the people in California. This is great example of how the electoral college takes away the “one person, one vote”. Meaning California has about “37 million people” and about “13 million of them vote for the president”. With 55 electoral votes, and Wyoming having 3 electoral votes, “each Wyoming voter in 2012 was worth 2.87 California
