One Night Concert In Jesus Culture

Jesus Culture hosted a One Night Concert in Franklin Tennessee on Wednesday November 11, 2015. Katie and Bryan Torwalt and Chris McClarney was the guest singers. The concert was at a beautiful church. It had glass windows and doors everywhere. They have a huge parking lot. It was full at the end of the night. There was three tour buses behind the church. We arrived early so we had to wait outside for a little while. The weather was breezy. When they finally opened the doors, we found our seats. We set up close. We were fours rolls away from the stage. We then explored the church. It was beautiful inside. They had wood walls and very dim lighting. They had multiple tables sat up with CD’s, posters, and tee-shirts. The concert began. They prayed at the beginning. Each artist gave a background testimony, then Chris McClarney played his new song “Holy Moment”. Holy Moment was …show more content…
During the second set, Bryan and Katie Torwalt played “He is Faithful” and “It Is Finished” and many more. Katie and Bryan Torwalt are married so their voices go great together. Both “He is Faithful” and “It Is Finished” has a slow tempo then they speed up again. “It Is Faithful” is different. It is a beautiful song, and you can definitely tell they spent a great amount of time on writing this. Chris McClarney played his newest song “God of Miracles”. “God of Miracles” is very descriptive, deep, and moving. This song is my favorite off of the whole album. They finished the concert with the song “Break Every Chain”. They had a small café outside in the former. It was very pleasing and relaxing to enjoy coffee and pastries while enjoying an amazing concert. My favorite part about the concert was that the performers were so care free. You could tell they either practiced or performed the set a lot, but they danced and jumped. They were happy and joyful and that made the delivery of the songs and their performance a whole lot better and more joyful to

About one month ago I attended a concert here in the Wartburg Chapel. The concert consisted of two groups, the Iowa State women's choir and The Wartburg Choir. I sat in the upper level of the chapel and it sounded absolutely incredible. I was extremely impressed of ho both of the choirs blended incredibly well and always sounded in tune and on pitch. The Wartburg Choir’s “Ain’t no grave” sent goosebumps to my spine with their unbelievable musicianship and facial expression.…

It was very soothing and relaxing to listen to. The music that the group produced was smooth throughout the concert. In the second song, the trumpet player used the technique of covering the hole of the trumpet where the sound comes out of with his hand and it made the trumpet sound similar to the trombone. The music was smooth and slow enough that one could move to it and follow along with it.…

The band did a great job performing and the singer was amazing. I really enjoyed singing along and jamming to the music. The singer had a “jazz” voice, which really went well for my favorite piece of the night, Four Women. I also thought it was cool how everyone in the band had a chance to shine with their solos, but my favorite solo was definitely the singer.…

What I really enjoyed was the atmosphere. The lights were dimmed so people could feel more comfortable and the music consisted of a good balance of upbeat music, and slow music. Songs were sung and people worshiped for about forty-five minutes. This was a very moving experience. Glancing into the audience, it was evident that everyone was engaged in the worship.…

On Sunday June 4th, I went to a local community park called Riverview Memorial Park located in Tarentum, Pennsylvania. The Riverview Memorial Park is a stage that performers can use which the pastor did which provided benches on the ground facing the stage. There is also a big pavilion with benches as well for people to sit. At this park, my boyfriend’s pastor was having a gathering with music and some readings from poems and verses from the Bible. The purpose of this gathering was to have people from around the community come together for an hour and sit back and enjoy the atmosphere that surrounds us and try to start your new week on a good note with having God by your side.…

I’m sitting alone in the front pew of the University of Virginia Chapel on a cold December night. In front of me there is a tall metal stand with a set of bongos perched precariously atop. Behind me sits the entire crowd of the sold out Virginia Women’s Chorus Candlelight Concert. When I arrived in Charlottesville months earlier, I could have never expected to be here. I have just finished performing a piece with the chorus minutes earlier, when a member of the chorus steps forward and addresses the audience to explain and introduce the next piece.…
