On the evening of October 1, 2015, I attended the play One Man 2 Guvnors, written by Richard Bean and directed by David Smith-English. The standout actors were Jayson Shanafelt, playing Francis Henshall, and Alex Fox, playing Stanley Stubbers. One Man 2 Guvnors takes place in 1963, Europe. In the play Francis Henshall is first employed by Annie Rimmer, but because he is starving and in desperate need of more money he is unable to refuse Stanley Subbers job offer with up front pay. From this point on Henshall finds himself running back and forth from employer to employer and task to task.
