Being innovative is one common leadership styles talked about in Rhea Blankens article “8 Leadership styles”. When a leader is innovative they “Grasp the entire situation and goes beyond the usual course of action (Blanken)” also one “Can see what is not working and brings new thinking and action into play (Blanken).” These leadership styles are found in the ways that Mcmurphy leads.
