The type of conflict “On the sidewalk bleeding” is character vs society. It’s character vs society and not group because in the text the people that didn’t help him were not part of either gang, therefore they are part of society and not a group. It’s character vs society because he, Andy, was up against the people that murdered him, the people who left him to die and him against all of the passing society in front of him. It’s proven in the text when it says “He watched the world passing at the other end of the alley. The world didn't know he was Andy. The world didn't know he was alive. He wanted to say," having it say this it shows that Andy was just a person in the bustling world but he wasn’t someone that society cared about.
