Terry Kelly is from St. John’s, Newfoundland and at the age of one, he was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a disease that left him blind. He made music since childhood and record five full-length recordings. His enthusiasm and determination gained recognition as an athlete, award-winning singer, songwriter and entertainer. On Remembrance Day, he was at ta drug store in Nova Scotia and the store owner announced for everybody to take a moment of silence to remember our troops. But he saw one man not standing for a moment of silence and interacted with the store clerk. Terry was angered by it. It is important for us to understand the artist’s background because his talent of singing and writing songs and what he saw at the drug store of the man
