It comes as no surprise that during war, there will be casualties, families will be broken up, towns will be destroyed, an entire city that was once full of lively people, will empty out as it's residents run from the war; but where will these people go? Some will have family that escaped before and paved a path that's easier to follow, others will stay in horrific conditions because they have no where to go, and the rest will try to flee to different countries, becoming refugees in nations where a vocal minority will loudly protest their presence. Syrian refugees are running from death and destruction, where towns full of children are bombed, and they're not even safe once they flee the battlegrounds. People will drown or be killed on their way to seek safety, and once they arrive to wherever they're going, they will find scrutiny, verbal and physical attacks. …show more content…
Medics, civilians, and even children, are killed. Such is the case with the bombing of Aleppo, a Syrian city, and home to millions. A city with a vast history should be preserved and protected during war, but instead became a battleground that resulted in the viral image/video of Omran Daqneesh. Five year old Daqneesh was outside playing with family and friends when a bombing destroyed his neighborhood. A video shows the child sitting in the back of an ambulance, covered in dust from his neighborhood buildings, and blood. While he did survive this bombing, his brother did not.
