The season that we can experience depends on whether the Earth’s axis is pointed towards or away from the sun. When the axis is not pointing toward, or away from the sun, we experience mild seasons such as autumn and spring, but how does the seasons affect the flora and fauna of the planet? The seasons flora and fauna in many ways. One way it affects us is the temperature of the air. The season can change the temperature of the air depending on how much sunlight reaches that specific area. As an example, the equate gets a lot of direct sunlight, while both the northern and southern hemisphere get indirect sunlight. Anyways, the temperature of the air can affect the rate of action in enzymes. If you don't know what an enzyme is, enzymes are what make all the chemical reactions in the cell possible. When it a specific temperature that the enzymes are exposed to, it can increase or decrease the rate of activity within the cells. Temperature also can affect plant growth. The most obvious effects of heat is through photosynthesis and respiration. If you unaware of what photosynthesis is, it is the process by which green plants and some …show more content…
Respiration is a process in living organisms involving the production of energy, typically with the intake of oxygen and the release of carbon dioxide from the oxidation of
