It seemed as though that everything that possibly could go wrong, went wrong during the year 2016. It was a big year historically as America has never suffered a mass tragedy in a hometown like this before. In the early hours of June 12, 2016, the deadliest mass shooting in American history happened in Orlando, Florida. Hundreds of stories and questions emerged just hours after the shooting. The shooter, the victims, and the line of events have all passed, but leave behind a tremendous story in history. Born in 1986, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen was a U.S. citizen in New York. He moved to Florida and was currently a resident in Fort Pierce (“3 Hours in Orlando”). He was raised religious and reports claim he had spite for the homosexuality community.
