Numerous Olympic wrestlers were shocked when they heard that Olympic wrestling was being dropped from the Olympics. Two of the many wrestlers who participate in the Olympics are Jordan Burroughs and David Taylor. They were both dejected by the news they got from the Olympic officials. Jordan Burroughs states, “I was thinking about wrestling in 2020. But, any thought I had about wrestling in 2020 is basically... well, I’ve got nothing now.” Jordan Burroughs was enthusiastic while looking forward to winning another Olympic medal. However, now that wrestling has been dropped out, he has nothing tremendous to look forward to in 2020. This can really crush the dreams of other wrestlers such as David Taylor, he had a dream since he was 8 years old
