Liu said that the festival does get support from city council and donations, but $8,000 to $10,000 is needed for general operations.
“We have great sponsors but it’s great to have people involved and to buy in,” said Liu.

The money raised for the festival would go towards general operations and to pay the people and local organizations that come

In collaboration these three separate events and festivals all together as they developed separately have now developed in to the big festival itself Festival Acadiens et Créole (“Festival Acadiens”). These events allowed for the festival to grow into something that celebrates all the aspects of the Cajun Créole culture. Rather than it just being a smaller event broken up into a day things it came together to a five-day event. More non-local people are more likely to come in for a festival that is more than just a couple hours one day because they are able to turn it into a vacation. Each day the festival has different activates to participate in such as concerts from different artist, a French mass, and arts and crafts for kids also to do all of these different options are able to come into play from the joint of the three festivals.…

Chase Malcom Honors 201-5 Cultural Event Essay Organ Celebration: More Than Meets the Eye I have always had an affinity in my heart for local symphony orchestras. Of course it makes sense now because I am studying music to make it a profession, but even when I was young, there was something special about seeing a live orchestra concert. All throughout my childhood, my grandma would take me to musical events, such as Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra concerts. I asssume this is a major contributor to my love of music in general, but there is just something special about hearing a piece of music that is hundreds of years old being brought back to life by local musicians right in front of your eyes—or ears.…

In New York City, there are many attractions, and historical landmarks to visit. One landmark that I would genuinely love to visit would be Camegie Hall. As someone who is very involved in music, I have always dreamed of visiting there. Carnegie Hall is one of the most prestigious music venues in America. My high school choir was invited to sing there under Dr. Johnson, who is the choral director at the University of Kentucky, but unfortunately, getting Harlan County School Board approval was out of the question at the time due to their meeting date for the month and lack of interest in our music program.…

Lewthwaite would need to prove that it was a worthy financial investment. Finally, the committee needed to consider the length of time required to establish a new database because most committee members believed that conclusive information on customer behavior could be drawn only from a minimum of 500,000 members. Further, although they thought that an investment in such a program could be largely beneficial for Cineplex, if implemented poorly, the organization’s image and its ability to deliver customer value could suffer widespread harm. Lewthwaite knew that although the following partner options might not meet all the committee’s criteria, she had to evaluate the most important considerations.…

The Hall is very charming with its high selling that contains thick dark brown carved wodden beams that covers the intire ceiling and gives warmth to the room.…

On December 2nd, 2016 at the Constance theatre the dance department presented a show called Agbedidi. The show, directed and choreographed by Mohamed DaCosta and Trent D. Williams, Jr., displayed a combination of Traditional African and Contemporary Dance. The house buzzed with excitement as the start of the show approached. It is quite encouraged to see such a large audience at an event, but this audience also brought a positive, vibrant atmosphere for the dancers to soak up. I was curious to see what this year’s performance would look like.…
