Olivia Reuter Case Study

Olivia Reuter and I are both in your EDU 203-02 class and we are hoping to work with you to figure out a solution to our scheduling dilemma. I am speaking on behalf of both Liv and myself because I will be leading the carpool for our fieldwork this semester.

Due to the carpool situation, on campus job and class schedules, alongside the distance between campus and DMS, Liv and I have found ourselves unable to come up with an efficient way to complete our 18 hours with the options at hand.

After much thought and discussion, we would like to propose a possible solution that we have come up with together.

Liv and I are both Art Education majors, which is a K-12 licensure and we are both looking to start our careers in an elementary school.

1 I come from a long line of educators and administrators on both sides of my family. Various relatives of mine have taught me to understand and appreciate the importance of education. This being the case, they have inspired my decision to be a teacher, preferably an elementary school teacher. Last year, I sat in on my aunt’s third grade class at Washington Irving, an elementary school in my district that I attended for three years. After visiting the classroom a handful of times, I absolutely fell in love.…

    1) What are some of the things ( behaviours) that you did or didn't do this week that kept you in your integrity? On my first week of school, I was speaking to a classmate and discovered she lived in the relative area to me, yet her commute was far longer. After some consideration, I decided to offer her a carpool agreement to the subway in the mornings, and to her house in the evenings. Rather than Lhara take a total of four busses every morning, I have added 15 minutes to my commute but taken an hour off hers.…

Tatiana Tarasoff’s parents (Plaintiffs) claim that Dr. Lawrance Moore (Defendant) and other therapists had the duty to warn Tatiana and parents of threats made by their patient, Prosenjit Poddar. They argue that two months earlier the Prosenjit Poddar had mentioned to Dr. Moore his intentions to kill Tatiana Tarasoff. Dr. Moore in fact did warn campus police about Poddar’s intentions and was detained briefly to be later released once he appeared rational.
