If you were stranded on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere, and you were allowed to bring three items that can fit into a regular-sized backpack, what would you bring? Well, if I were to be stranded on a deserted island, I would bring a portable water purifier, an axe, and a satellite phone. I am confident I will be able to sustain on the island, and lastly getting rescued by the civilization. Considering that I will need safe drinking water, edible food, and a safe shelter. The portable water purifier is essential, and it should be your first priority; next having a sharp axe can be extremely convenient; and lastly I am going to bring a satellite phone so I can be rescued in time. With the portable water purifier and an axe, I am positive that I will be able to sustain on the island for at least a month. As time pasts by, resources will be all used up. If the civilization hasn’t discovered where I am yet, I would be in huge threat. So I will need to bring a satellite phone to call for help. You may think that the cellular phone would be a better choice, but bringing a cellular phone won’t be beneficial since the phone won’t be able to connect to any phone services. On the other hand a satellite phones can function properly outside of any country and anywhere on Earth. It can make and receive calls in areas where cellular phones have absolutely no connection; like in the middle of the sea. Satellite phones also enable me to keep in contact with the civilization and it ensures that I would be found and rescued in time. This technology is reliable, it can help you when a natural disaster occurs, and it keeps you and the civilization in touch. This is why it is a valuable piece of equipment of any search and rescue operation for
