On Friday, July 29, Oldcastle Precast-Auburn hosted its tenth annual charity golf outing on the fairways at Auburn Golf Course in Auburn, Wash.
Between hole sponsors, 50/50 raffle, and open donations, over $6,000 was raised and presented to Auburn Youth Resources. Auburn Youth Resources is a fully accredited, regional mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, youth and young adult residential center, whose mission is to assist families in their journey to becoming healthy, effective, loving and self-directed people by providing counseling and support services.

During the luncheon, everyone was honored with the very kind, encouraging, and moving words from Michael Jackson, Director of Auburn Youth Resources, who shared his sincere gratitude for the support that Oldcastle Precast has provided Auburn Youth Resources for so many years.
“The day was a huge success with near perfect weather. Everyone had a great day of golf, networking, and many laughs,” said Dave Swanson, Oldcastle Precast Sales Manager. “The money raised will go to very good use, which Auburn plans to double in 2017. This event could not happen without a lot of support. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make the charity golf outing an exciting and successful fundraising event.”
Planned in 2017, Auburn Youth Resources and Oldcastle Precast-Auburn are kicking off their “Mentor for Success” Program. Select Oldcastle Precast Auburn employees will advise and train young upcoming individuals, in the Auburn Youth Resources, to write resumes, develop interview skills, and acquire general business skills, guiding them through a very dynamic and competitive business culture for success.
