Old Major In Animal Farm

Old Major, from the book Animal Farm, represents Karl Marx. He gives an arousing speech

for all the animals on the farm about tyranny. Old Major is, in fact, a boar, but that doesn't mean he

can't give a great speech in a book about talking animals. He said in the speech that they, the animals

of the farm, should not be living in these poor conditions while their master takes everything from

them and makes a living off of their hard work. He said that the animals should rise against mankind

and take control of the farm. The animals are all for this and really love the boar's speech. Old Major
