On the contrary, the old-earth view is that the earth is more than 4.56 billion years old. Furthermore, its existence is based on a series of combustions related to clouds of gas. For the young-earth believers, the witness accounts in the Bible are noted not as a theory, but as a history of events. Therefore, their belief will never be swayed as there is no other explanation other than word of Scripture that God is the creator of all things. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
