There are many good reasons on why America should reclaim old buildings, but there are many reason why America shouldn't. This is one of those things where America needs it but it just cost way too much and America is already a trillion dollars in debt. For starters making the buildings more green will be extremely expensive because there are many appliances and wind turbines and solar panels and water pumps that will be so much money. A lot of cities in America could benefit from this but it could also be rough for the cities especially cities like Detroit, Michigan that will struggle with this, because they have already went bankrupt. These business also have a good chance that they will have high bill for everything that makes the buildings more green but cost a lot of money to keep going or to buy. The amount of money these projects usually cost are $3 million - $5 million depending on how much work is needed to be done.There still is that chance that businesses will fail due to the fact that they still may or may not be able to keep paying bills or get enough business to stay open so putting all this money on these could be a complete failure, which is not good for America and it's poor cities. Some would say that making the buildings green is a good thing but others would disagree and say it is a bad thing because of all the money that goes into it but that is fairly true. One thing that is difficult for many compianes is finding a specific amount of people that will do the jobs and that is a problem because with out every one they won't be able to do anything.
