“Old Ben” and “Fox Hunt” are similar in that in “Old Ben” uses foreshadowing as the narrator remembering what the father has about snakes, it is similar in “Fox Hunt” when Andy has a dream about the running with a fox that has slanted eyes and him knowing he’s seen them before. These examples of foreshadowing are similar because both authors are having their main characters realize that something in the near future will either be good or bad.
