Olaudah finally made it to land, it was a small island in Barbados, whites on board gave them a shout, and mades signs of joy. The slaves did not know what to think. The little piece of land grew larger, now you can see a dock with boats and ships. Many merchants and planters came on board to see the soon to be new slaves; they put them in small group and examined them closely. Then told them to jump off board pointing to the land. Olaudah still thinking in the back off his mind that the guys were cannibals; the British told the slaves they weren’t going to be eaten, but we're going to work for the men. That made the Africans feel better, the British also said there were other Africans at the farms. Merchants came in and put the Africans together
