Before we left, we decided to try a pretzel, so we bought a large pretzel with sea salt and fennel seeds and shared it among ourselves. As we were heading away from the food court, Hope spotted a booth selling mini-pumpkin donuts. Having a few tickets left, the currency for purchasing food, we decided to get two servings to share among us as we headed toward the exit. As we walked back to the car, we talked about our favorite parts of the festival, Mom liked seeing the vendor’s booths, Hope favored the bow shooting, Julia and Kate loved the food, and I considered the Glockenspiel stage to be the main highlight of the

To briefly discuss about the speaker’s education, he finished his undergraduate degree in History and is currently an MBA candidate at the Carlson School of Management with a particular focus on supply chain management. One of the reasons he decided to join the Carlson School of Management to pursue a graduate degree is to seek more career opportunities as he could not find a job within his field after his graduation from college. Besides his academic career, he has a five-year work experience in the Land O’Lakes. Inc.…

Ashlyn Mok Professor Leonard HCOM 100, Section 39 7 April 2016 Richard Kuklinski Introduction (Attention getter) DOCUMENTARY. Today, I am going to inform you about the life of a notorious mafia hitman, Richard Kuklinski, who was also known as the Iceman. There may be many mafia hit men out there, but Richard Kuklinski will forever be remembered because of how open he was to discuss his life and killings on camera. According to Jane Ridley, author of the article “Meet the Undercover Cop Who Brought ‘The Iceman’ to Justice” from the New York Post, posted on May 3, 2013, “Kuklinski got his nickname (The Iceman) because he often froze his victims’ bodies and then defrosted them (to throw off) the medical examiner’s determination of the time of…

The smoky room is filled with stocky men in short lederhosen sporting big, bushy sideburns and unkempt mustaches and heavy-set waitresses outfitted with blue knee-length dirndls carrying up to sixteen mugs of beer while walking down the aisles. The overly crowded tables are festooned with blue and white checkered tablecloths, and numerous people are singing drinking songs, albeit in a rather out of tune fashion. This image of the Hoffbrau Haus is the stereotypical view many Americans hold of Germany; however, this country’s culture is multifaceted – it has so much more to offer than drinking beer in Munich. As my mother is a native, I had the privilege of extensively traveling throughout this wonderful country, from the numerous castles to the quaint coastal towns along the North Sea, in addition to experiencing the self-sufficient life-style of a rural German.…
