The protagonist is Okonkwo and the antagonists are the white people and Okonkwo’s father Unoko. This is because throughout the whole story Okonkwo is fighting to not be like his father. He is also fighting to get society to fit the exact needs he wants. He wants them to keep the same religion, he wants them to bend the rules for him when he beats his wife during the week of peace and so on.
