The tree owner section permits the user to sign up as a tree owner and register their tree for a pick based on the time they want it harvested. The goal of the tree owner section is to place most of the paperwork and logistics on the tree owner and lighten the paperwork for the organization—once again. With the help of the tree owner section, they are able to register and update tree information with little work on the organization side of things. In short, the volunteer section aims give the respective user more control over their role while saving time for The Okanagan Fruit Tree Project. The organization section gives the administrators a simple solution to adding picks, editing picks and organizing picks in an easy to use calendar type interface. Within the organization section picks are easily created after adding the pertinent information and relaying that into a calendar that volunteers can view and signup themselves.
