O.J. Simpson was a household name before the trial. Most people in my generation doesn't understand that neither did I. All I knew him for was being on trial for doing something to his wife. And me being a huge sports fan never knew he was a heisman trophy winning running back and an NFL superstar. His stardom was the biggest the world has ever seen. Not only was he great on the field his off the field presence was just as good. He became a really famous actor as well starring in the Naked gun movies and Capricorn One. They called it the trial of the century. O.J. and everyone that was involved in it life changed forever due to the trial for the murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. He was a racist cop and they had tapes of him using the “N” word and talking bad about African Americans. Just weeks before he stood on the stand and lied that he never used the “N” word . So the defense team made his discovering of the bloody glove and all the other evidence he found seem not credible because he has lied before. And that changed the trial into a racial division. Black people didn't even care if he did it or not they just wanted to see a black man get off , because of what their race has been through . But it wasn't the right way to look at the trial two people were murdered , and the criminal was more and likely O.J. Simpson. The prosecution tried to make the African American people see that O.J. didn't really care for his own color . He never gave back to his community and only hung out with rich white people . But that didn't phase them they let O.J. off and he went home a free man after a nine month long trial . Even though O.J. was let off his name was no longer credible he was known as O.J. the killer not the great athlete and the actor. His life never was the same and he could never really recover …show more content…
Simpson was one of the most famous persons in the world , but you can’t run from the realities of life. He killed his ex wife and her friend and there's nothing that says otherwise. You can make up as many theories as you want but O.J. had a mean streak and everyone knew it. Nicole knew what he was capable of and she warned everyone until it was too late . One night O.J. and his friend were smoking weed and getting drunk back in his home in Brentwood before he left. O.J. said, “ If she didn't answer the door with a knife she would still be alive”. O.J. is a heartless human being don't be fooled

Although he was one of my favorite players I had no idea how much he actually went through to get where he is today. Cruz has missed the entire 2015 NFL season with injury but I have no doubt in my mind he will overcome his injury and come back to play like he has been throughout his career. Reading about Marsh-Williams’s shock of seeing Cruz in the preseason was definitely the highlight of this article, reading about how she dismissed Cruz and saw his hardships then to see him three years later performing on the stage he was. Pennington did a very good job of covering all of Cruz’s hardships through his life and mentioning his success he has had after overcoming his struggles.
