O. J. Simpson, one of the greatest football players of all time, had multiple acknowledgments for how great of a player he was. O. J. Simpson was a Heisman winner (the greatest player in college football in that year) O.J. is a National Hall of Fame football player for the NFL; however, that is not what he is most well known for. October 3rd, 1995, O.J. Simpson’s wife was brutally murdered along with a man named Ronald Goldman, who was her “friend”. Evidence shows that the murder and the way their lives were taken were from no ordinary man, the murder was out of passion and anger, by a powerful man. Everything points to O.J. Simpson, he was strong enough to kill a man like Ronald, at this time O.J. was not far from his prime, he was a strong man at the time, and …show more content…
J. was “a man charged with a crime of passion against an intimate companion in a relationship marked by disturbing evidence of physical and psychological abuse” (Mueller, 1996, Pg. 728). The. The relationship was horrible and she looked to someone else for comfort while O.J. couldn’t do anything about it. O. J. and her had been abusive to each other, calling one another names and even being physically violent. Once in Hawaii, he threw her against walls and on the floor, which left visible bruising, she was asked about the entire rest of the vacation in Hawaii. Another occasion where he beat her so badly she had to crawl for help was recorded too in New York City. O. J. also had a lot of DNA left at the crime scene. “The Los Angeles Police Department produced blood and fibers were found at the scene” (Lassiter, 1996, Pg.70). Blood was found on his Ford Bronco, on the handle and all around it. There were bloody shoe prints of his size on multiple scenes of the murders, in total there were drops of blood, and even his blood was found in the rear gate.
