Officer Harris Narrative

A hot summer day in Wylie, Kentucky, two twins, Quinn and Jake, decided to go to the park. Quinn and Jake met a strange, but nice man. Little did they know he was on the hunt. On the hunt for children. The man walked up to the twins and introduced himself. “Hi, children. I´m uhhh your new friend.” The children were frightened by the strange man, but they let the fear go and kept talking to him. Until, one day, Officer Harris got a report, two children went missing. Wanting to take the case into her own hands, officer Harris spent hours looking for the missing kids, but hadn't found a single trace of the children. She looked all around the playground, she also looked through the woods, but still couldn't find anything. Officer Harris finally decided that she needed some help. She went back to the station to ask for backup. Back at the park the officers searched with willing volunteers for the children. One man, a strange man, was trying to lead the officers away from the woods saying; “Guys! Guys! I think I hear children screaming over near the park.” The officers, vigilant of their surroundings, quickly ran to the park, but didn’t see any sign of the children. “CLEAR!” screams one of the officers. “CLEAR!” screams another. Officer Harris was confused. Was the man lying about what he heard, lying about the children? She quickly ran back to the woods looking for the man, but he wasn't anywhere in sight. “We have a suspect, look for a man with dark brown hair, green eyes, and a blue coat on.” Out of the corner of her eye she saw …show more content…
“Thank you Officer! You saved our lives and we will always be greatful of you!” Officer blushed and thanked the kids. “Thank you for getting help for me while I fought off that man.” In the end, the strange man went to prison and the children went back to their family. Quinn and Jake’s family were so happy to have them back
