Officer Collazo: A Career As A S2 Patrol Officer

Officer Collazo, I was your immediate supervisor since September 2, 2015, during which time you were assigned to the S2 patrol squad. During this time I quickly come to realize how dedicated of an officer you truly have become within the organization. Your proactive work ethic has been infectious amongst your peers which resulted in S2 being one of the highest productive squads in the department.

Even with being a high performer in the agency, your reports are always completed in a timely and accurate manner with minimal to no errors. Your equipment and uniform is always in good working order and presence a professional image. In dealing with the community you take the time necessary to properly handle each situation, while ensuring the citizen feels they have received an appropriate level of service.

These activities have ranged from assisting with recruiting at job fairs, to attending local events within the city. One examples being when you attended a job fair being hosted by Arizona State University where you represented our organization and aided in answering questions of potential applicants. You also participated in the 2015 Shop with a Cop event where you assisted a child in need with locating gifts for themselves and their family
