When I was a child, I loved trying to type on my family desktop. As I got older, I enjoyed helping people with their computers and typing. When I was in high school typing and working in the office was highlight of my day. I learned ho to "touch" type by blacking out the keyboard and learning the home row keys. It is hard to believe that a male would like to be an office worker but it is not strange to me. I would rather be called an office assistant and I would like to be a businessman. I have worked at the local win job center and I found that I could do a good job. The requirements for being and Office Assistant are varied. You should have a high school diploma and some college or trade school diploma. Continuing education classes are a …show more content…
Being an office assistant is a good way of learning new and better skills evey day. I know that I have just started my career by enrolling and completing the Office Administration Program at the Finch-Henry Job Corp Center. Because I have done my research, I know what ro expect concering wages, opportunities, and advancements. My goals are to attend Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, Mississippi and then go to Jaskson, Mississippi. I have also consider a career in the Navy or Air Force. These two branches of United State Military have many office jobs that will allow me to improve my skill and resume. Where I work in a large city or a small town, I know that I can be successful as an office assistant\businessman. If I choose the military, I will also attend college as the Armed Forces encourge college attendance and will in some case pay for courses on line or at a college. I am sure that my decision to be an office assistant will allow me to have productive and stable
