Lennie is a kind of man that is giant with shapeless face, and George is a man that is small and with a sharp, strong features. In the text, you can clearly understand that Lennie has a mild mental disability, and is deeply devoted to George and dependent upon him for protection and guidance. George understand what’s happened so he starts running to find Lennie. He finds him in a river, and Lennie has panic and is sorry for what he have done. George has had enough of his trouble so he take the gun, and shoot Lennie, thinking now there is no more trouble coming at him.

This story is told through a third person, you can see it how it never mention ‘’me, I or you. ‘’ I think that the third person writing is important for this story, then you can see both Lennie and George’s opinion and thoughts.
The themes in this movie is farmwork, friendship and love. I think what the author is trying to tell us is that sometimes the things we love or the person we love isn’t the best for us. Sometimes you need to take some tough decisions, but if it’s the best for you, then you do it.
I think the book and the movie is a confusing story, first you would do anything in the world for your friend and suddently you kill him? I think the message in this movie/book are wired. I like the book better then the movie, I think it explains better the story then the movie. The end I think is crazy, it just suddently ends, and i think the movie has a better ending then the book has because there you can see what happens a little bit better but still, I think the whole ending is

It all had started when we went to the bar after the incident with Lennie, George was semi drunk but he told us the story of how George and Lennie came to us. “It all started when we were on the road and the bus driver left us behind,” he said as I listened in. “We were walking on the road and the sun was setting, we stopped up for camp,” George said as I thought about George’s unstable emotions. What I thought was that if Lennie was with George all those years, even when they were young children, did George ever think of this kind of reckless and sad future? “Lennie stupidly dipped his fingers into some strange lake, luckily it was running,” George said laughing.…

Breaking down this quote into parts, the first conflict creates action then action creates a character. First, conflict creates action means when there is a conflict people will often take action to stop the conflict. An interpretation of action creates a character is how an action can shape a character, and how others would judge or think about the character.
