“Lennie and me got to make a stake”(Steinback 54). This quote means, that George is committed with Lennie to not waste their money and be responsible enough to save it for their dream, this proves that george is utmost responsible for their dream together by him making a clump of cash for their home and land that he will purchase for Lennie and himself in the future.
