Anytime Curley’s wife attempts to talk to anyone around the ranch they all immediately tell her to leave them alone. She’s always being told that she has a husband that she should go and talk to instead of creating trouble around the ranch. She catches Crooks, Lennie and Candy in the stable buck’s room and she asks where her husband is. A small argument breaks out and Candy tells Curley’s wife to go and find her husband and quit looking for trouble. She gets upset and says, “ Sure i gotta husban’. You all seen him.
